Image Studio

Prompt-first image generation and AI-powered editing with a live gallery, multiple edit tools, and credit metering.

What Image Studio is for

Image Studio is a dedicated space to:

  • Generate images from text prompts with style control
  • Edit AI-generated or uploaded images with multiple tools
  • View all your generated and edited images in one gallery
  • Manage your image assets before posting

Before you start

  • Image Studio requires a paid plan with AI Credits
  • Each edit costs 38 credits
  • Generated images stay in your gallery even if you don't post them

Step 1 — Open Image Studio

  1. In the left sidebar, click 🎨 Image Studio (when enabled).
  2. You'll land on the Create tab with a prompt input and style picker.

Step 2 — Generate images from a prompt

  1. Enter a text description of the image you want (e.g., "a laptop on a desk with coffee").
  2. (Optional) Choose a style from the style picker (realistic, watercolor, illustrated, etc.).
  3. Click Generate.
  4. Aidelly creates multiple image variations. Each appears in the gallery below.
  5. Click any image to open the preview lightbox (full size, action buttons).

Step 3 — Use the template gallery

Quick-start prompts appear in the template gallery:

  1. Browse the available templates by category.
  2. Click any template to auto-fill the prompt input.
  3. Edit the prompt if needed, then Generate.

Step 4 — Edit images with AI tools

From the preview lightbox:

  1. Click ✏️ Edit (the edit icon).

  2. The AI edit overlay opens with a full-screen editor.

  3. Choose your edit tool from the left toolbar:

    • Freeform: draw and describe changes (e.g., "make the sky darker")
    • Add: describe what to add (e.g., "add birds flying")
    • Remove: select and remove objects
    • Replace: describe what to replace something with
    • Style: change the overall style (watercolor, oil painting, etc.)
    • Background: change or adjust the background
    • Edit text: modify any text in the image
    • Translate text: translate visible text to another language

  4. After making your choice, review the result on the canvas.

  5. Click Save to persist the edited image (38 credits charged).

  6. The edited image is watermarked and stored in your gallery.

Note: Some tools may be labeled "coming soon" and unavailable in this version.

Step 5 — Manage your gallery

All generated and edited images appear in the Gallery tab:

  1. Click any image to preview or download it.
  2. Use the action bar to:
    • Edit — open the editor again
    • Download — save to your device
    • Use in post — add to a new post (fast-forwards to Create Post)
    • Delete — remove from your gallery

Step 6 — Understand your credit usage

  • Generation: free (included with your plan)
  • AI edits: 38 credits per edit
  • Your current credit balance appears in the top-right corner
  • When you run low, buy more credits from Account Settings → Billing.

Common questions

Q: Can I edit images I uploaded myself?
A: Yes. Upload an image from your device or media library, then edit it the same way as generated images.

Q: What happens if I run out of credits mid-edit?
A: The edit won't be applied or charged. Buy more credits and try again.

Q: Can I see what AI model generated an image?
A: Yes, image metadata includes the model and edit tools used. Check the image details in the gallery.

Q: Are my images private?
A: Your gallery is private to your workspace. You control when and if images are posted to social media.
