AI Video Creator generates short-form, brand-aware videos from text prompts:

  • Create videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more
  • Choose from multiple lengths (4s, 8s, 12s) and aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1)
  • Pick a quality tier (standard or premium)
  • Automatic refund if generation fails
  • Use your own Replicate API key (BYOK) for zero credit cost

Before you start

  • Video generation requires video credits (not AI credits)
  • Each generation uses credits based on tier: Standard costs 1 credit, Premium costs 4 credits
  • You can buy video credit packs or use your own Replicate API key

Step 1 — Open AI Video Creator

  1. In the left sidebar, click 📹 Videos (when enabled).
  2. You'll see the Creator panel on the left with options, and the Job list on the right showing past and in-progress generations.

Step 2 — Enter your prompt

  1. In the Creator panel, type a description of the video you want (e.g., "a sunrise over mountains with calm music").
  2. Aidelly translates your prompt into a short-form video.

Step 3 — Choose your settings

Configure these options before generating:

  • Aspect ratio: Choose 9:16 (portrait, for Reels/TikTok), 16:9 (landscape, for YouTube), or 1:1 (square, versatile)
  • Length: Pick 4 seconds, 8 seconds, or 12 seconds
  • Quality tier:
    • Standard — faster, lower quality, 1 credit per video
    • Premium — higher quality, 4 credits per video
  • Include-me: (Optional) Add your avatar to the video — disabled if you haven't set up a brand avatar
  • Brand chip: Shows your workspace branding will be applied to the video prompt

Step 4 — See the cost upfront

The Cost line displays exactly what the generation will charge:

  • Displays the credit cost before you generate
  • Updates if you change the tier or length
  • Shows as a Buy CTA if you don't have enough credits
  • Shows a disabled reason if generation is blocked (e.g., monthly quota exceeded)

Step 5 — Generate the video

  1. Click Generate.
  2. The video job starts and appears in the Job list.
  3. Status shows: Queued → Generating → Done or Failed.
  4. Generation takes 30–60 seconds depending on length and tier.

Step 6 — Download or use the video

When a job completes:

  1. Click the job card to preview the video.
  2. Click Download to save to your device.
  3. Click Use in post to add the video directly to a new post.
  4. If a generation fails, your credits are automatically refunded.

Note: Premium-tier videos cost 4 credits each, so a 50-credit pack generates ~12 premium videos.

Using your Replicate API key (BYOK)

Use your own Replicate account for video generation at zero Aidelly credit cost:

  1. Go to Account Settings → BYOK (Bring Your Own Key).
  2. Paste your Replicate API key.
  3. When enabled, the /Videos page shows "Using your Replicate key" instead of credit balance.
  4. Generation runs through Replicate with no credit deduction.
  5. Quota limits are disabled when using BYOK.

Supported video models

Standard tier:

  • Seedance (fast, good for short-form)
  • Wan-r2v (realistic)

Premium tier:

  • Veo 3.1 (highest quality, best for polished content)

Resolution is fixed at 720p across all tiers.

Common questions

Q: How many videos can I generate per month?
A: Monthly quota depends on your plan. Check Account Settings → Usage for your current limit. Using your Replicate key (BYOK) removes the quota cap.

Q: What if a video fails to generate?
A: Credits are automatically refunded within a few minutes. Try again or use a different prompt.

Q: Can I edit the video after generation?
A: Download the video and edit it in your favorite video editor, then upload it back to post on social media.

Q: Do generated videos have a watermark?
A: No, videos are watermark-free and ready to post.

Q: Why is Include-me disabled?
A: You need to set up a brand avatar first. Go to Brand Profile → Avatar and upload a photo or select from your media library.
