Connect Shopify

Connect your Shopify store once, and every product in your catalog becomes a one-click social post — image attached, caption drafted, link tracked.

This takes about three minutes. You will do two things: create an access token in Shopify, then paste it into Aidelly.

Step 1 — Create your Shopify access token

Aidelly reads your catalog through a private app token that you create in your own Shopify admin. Only you ever see it, and it can only read products — it cannot change your store.

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
2. Click Develop apps (top of the page). If Shopify asks, click Allow custom app development.
3. Click Create an app. Name it anything — Aidelly works.
4. Open the Configuration tab and click Configure next to Admin API integration.
5. Tick two scopes: read_products and read_product_listings. Click Save.
6. Open the API credentials tab and click Install app.
7. Click Reveal token once and copy the token. It starts with shpat_.

Copy it now — Shopify only shows this token once. If you lose it, uninstall and reinstall the app to get a new one.

Step 2 — Connect the store in Aidelly

1. In Aidelly, open E-commerce in the sidebar.
2. Click Connect store and pick Shopify.
3. Enter your shop domain — the .myshopify.com one, for example your-shop.myshopify.com.
4. Paste the shpat_ token from Step 1.
5. Click Connect.

Aidelly checks the token and starts syncing your catalog right away. You'll see a "Syncing…" indicator; big catalogs stream in while you keep working.

Step 3 — Post a product

1. Once products appear in the grid, click Create post on any product card.
2. The composer opens with the product image attached, a caption drafted for your platform, and a tracked short link to the product page.
3. Edit anything you like, then schedule or publish.

That's the whole loop: new products sync in, and any of them is one click from a post.

After catalog changes

Added or updated products in Shopify? Click Re-sync on the store row in Aidelly. Re-syncs only fetch what changed, so they're fast.

If something doesn't work

What Aidelly can and cannot do in your store

Aidelly reads product titles, images, prices, and SKUs. The scopes you granted are read-only: Aidelly cannot edit products, see orders or customers, or change anything in your store.
